NEW HAVEN, May 6.--Harvard won the dual shoot with Yale at New Haven this afternoon by a score of 220 to 181 birds out of a possible 250, and thus surpassing the intercollegiate record.
The individual scores were as follows: The University shooting team will compete in the semi-annual intercollegiate shooting tournament which will be held on the Yale grounds at New Haven this morning. Harvard, Yale, Princeton, the University of Pennsylvania and probably the University of Virginia will each be represented by teams of five men, and each man will shoot at fifty birds thrown at unknown angles. Individual cups will be given to the members of the winning team and an individual championship cup to the man making the best score of the day. Harvard has won the last two intercollegiate shoots and since the material is the best in years the prospects are good for another victory.
