NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In an interesting game yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field, the University second nine defeated the Somerville High School team by a score of 6 to 4. In the third inning, aided by two singles and three errors, Somerville scored three runs, and in the seventh, by means of two hits and three errors, the second team made four runs, but except in these two innings the scoring was light. Hafford, the Somerville pitcher, combined good control with a quick change of speed and struck out eleven men. Greenough and Mitchell furnished the fielding features of the game by several difficult catches in the outfield.
