Freshmen, 15; Brookline High, 11.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman nine defeated Brookline High School yesterday in a poorly played game by a score of 15 to 11.

The playing of the Freshmen was very spiritless, their fielding was inaccurate and with a few exceptions the batting was weak. Hall pitched effectively, but lacked support. Brookline High School, after being seven runs behind, tied the score in the eighth inning. In the last half of the eighth, however, the Freshmen scored four runs on two bases on balls, and hits by Evans and Sibley.
