Mr. H. M. Ayres 02 will speak in the Living Room of the Union this evening at 8 o'clock on "Buddhist Burma," dealing with some of the characteristics of the Burmese people, and their religion and social system. Burmese society approaches more closely to a perfect democracy than any other civilization in the world, and some of its aspects suggest and help to explain the real differences between the Eastern and Western points of view.
The lecture will be illustrated with lantern slides made from photographs taken by Mr. Ayres in Burma, and is open only to members of the Union.
