On the night of April 29, Sever Hall was broken into. Glass, locks, windows, bulletins, and bells were damaged, and gas jets were turned on and left wide open. There is fire in the basement of Sever, and had the gas exploded, the building would probably have been wrecked. This is only one of a long series of acts of vandalism, presumably by some student organization.
