Good Performances at Track Games.

In the University handicap track games on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon much ability was shown by new material. The handicap men won nine events, and in the running races, by the aid of a fast track, made very creditable times. The poorest showing was in the field events, but this discouraging feature was partially atoned for by the large number of new men who qualified for places in the sprints and distance runs.
