SECOND CREW RACE TODAY

Annual Contest With Cornell Second on Cayuga Lake This Afternoon.

ITHACA, N. Y., May 27.--The Harvard second crew will race the Cornell second over the two-mile course on Cayuga Lake tomorrow afternoon.

In its practice today the Harvard crew showed great improvement, rowing two miles up the lake at an easy 26 stroke. Before the race tomorrow the members of the squad will attend the Cornell-Pennsylvania baseball game.

The crews will row as follows:

Harvard--Stroke, Brownell; 7, Bowditch; 6, Lindsley; 5, Montgomery; 4, Foster; 3, Gardiner; 2, Shepard; bow, Flint; cox., Chase.

Cornell--Stroke, Foote; 7, Lee; 6, Aller; 5, Whitehead; 4, Barnhart; 3, Johnson; 2, Barton; bow, Fisher; cox., Slocum.
