The Oxford and Cambridge Athletic Clubs having challenged the Harvard and Yale teams to an athletic meeting to be held in London this summer, the Athletic Committee, at a meeting held May 25, authorized the track management to unite with Yale in accepting the aforesaid challenge, provided that the funds for Harvard's share of the expenses be raised without drawing on the treasury of the Athletic Committee. The date of the Oxford-Cambridge challenge was May 12. As a committee of arrangements on the part of Harvard the following representatives were appointed: the Graduate Treasurer, R. Ernst '03; N. W. Bingham, Jr., '95, as member of the Athletic Committee; P. Dana '04, manager of the track team.
