On account of the small number of entries for the state club baseball series received up to Saturday night, closing of the entries has been postponed to Wednesday at 6 o'clock. In addition to the regular state team, one city from each state may enter a nine for the series.
The entrance fee is $3, and all entries should be sent to A. L. Thayer, Hollis 11. Each team must submit at the time of entering a list of its members, and no one whose name is not on the list will be allowed to play.
Unless at least six teams enter, the series will not be held this year. Last year Maine, Iowa, California, Ohio, Indiana, and Missouri competed, and the championship was won by Maine.
