In a five-inning game played, in the heavy rain yesterday afternoon, the University second nine defeated Milton Academy, at Milton, by a score of 8 to 3. Owing to the slippery grounds, errors were frequent on both sides. Neither pitcher was effective.

As the game with St. Mark's scheduled for Saturday, has been cancelled, the Second nine's next game will be on Monday, with the Freshmen.
