The Freshman lacrosse team defeated the Columbia freshmen on Soldiers Field, Saturday, by a score of 6 goals to 0. The Freshmen completely outclassed their opponents, a larger score being prevented only by the inability of the attack to retain possession of the ball at critical moments. The stick work was very poor throughout, but the team-play was above the standard of Freshman teams. Wendell, Stoddard and Ackerman played the best game for the Freshmen; for their opponents, Bissell and Ames did the best work.
The line-up was as follows: Score--Harvard 1907, 6: Columbia 1907, 0. Goals--Wendell 2, Hirsh 2. Robinson, Comey. Referee--D. P. Penhallow '03. Halves--20 minutes.
