The Second nine was defeated by Andover, Saturday afternoon, at Andover, by a score of 11 to 1. Lanigan pitched a very effective game for Andover, allowing the Second team only four scattered hits, and striking out ten men. He had excellent support in the field. Andover made seventeen hits off Jackson, and the fielding of the Second was often very poor. Sperry scored Harvard's only run on a long hit over left field, in the ninth inning.
