1907 Lacrosse With Columbia.

At 3 o'clock this afternoon in the Stadium the Freshman lacrosse team will play its first game of the season with the Columbia Freshmen. The team has practiced regularly since the mid-years and has acquired experience by line-ups against the University team. Since the defeat by the Juniors on May 3 the defense has steadily developed while the attack has been greatly improved. The stick-work, however, is weak at critical moments and the team-play is still rather ragged. On the whole the chances slightly favor the home team. D. P. Penhallow '03 will act as referee and the halves will be twenty minutes in length.

Following is the line-up: Harvard 1907.  Columbia 1907. Tucker, g.  g., Hill Beale, p.  i.h., French Marsters, c.p.  o.h., Renner Prizer, 1st d.  1st a., Friedman Kempner, McKay, 2d d.  2d a., Williams Ackerman, 3d d.  3d a., McKinlay Mac Ausland, c.  c., Sisman Wondell, 3d a.  3d d., Roberts (captain) Robinson (Captain), 2d a.,  2d d., Bernstein Stoddard, 1st a.  1st d., Bissell Comey, Dole, o.h.  c.p., Ames Hirsch, i.h.  p., Millett

Next Saturday the team will play the Stevens Institute of Technology 1907 team on Soldiers Field at 2.30 o'clock.
