The matches played in the tennis team trials yesterday resulted as follows: Prentice defeated Larned, 7-5, 6-4; Bishop defeated Miller, 6-2, 7-5; Collester defeated Sulloway, 6-2, 6-4; Smither defeated Brannan, 6-4, 7-5; Beals defeated Cole, 10-8, 6-4; Smither defeated Sulloway, 6-4, 7-5; Souther defeated de Rham, 7-5, 4-6, 8-6; Prentice defeated Bishop, 7-5, 7-5. The following matches are to be played today at 2 o'clock: Sulloway vs. Beals, Smither vs. Cole, Bishop and Prentice vs. Larned and Miller. At 4 o'clock: Smither vs. Collester, Sulloway vs. Cole.
