The matches played in the tennis team trials yesterday resulted as follows: Prentice defeated Beals, 7-5, 6-3; Collester defeated Cole, 6-3, 6-2; Larned defeated Miller, 6-0, 6-2; de Rham defeated Johnson, 6-4, 6-3; Souther defeated Tilden, 7-5, 4-6, 8-6; Smither defeated Beals, 6-4, 6-3.

The following matches are to be played today at 2 o'clock: Prentice vs. Larned, Bishop vs. Miller, Sulloway vs. Collester, Smither vs. Brannan, de Rham vs. Souther. At 4 o'clock: Cole vs. Beals, Collester vs. Brannan, Sulloway vs. Smither.
