The University second nine was defeated by Exeter in a poorly played game yesterday afternoon at Exeter, by a score of 22 to 11. Exeter made 22 hits off Alexander, and the fielding of the second team, with the exception of Burns at third base, was listless. T. Jones played an excellent game for Exeter, making four hits. The other men were erratic.
