The 220-yard straight away on the Stadium track was used for the first time yesterday. The whole track will be completed by next week if the weather is favorable. The work of the track squad yesterday consisted in short sprints for the sprinters and quarter-mile runners while the rest of the squad went on a long distance run. From now on the hurdlers will have work daily on the track under the direction of W. F. Garcelon '95. The high jumpers, polevaulters and broad-jumpers are to have practice on the take-offs, which are now in excellent condition.
