Lecture on the Burmese People.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Mr. Harry Morgan Ayres '02 will speak in the Union next Tuesday evening on some of the characteristics of the Burmese people, their religion and social system. Burmese society approaches more closely to a perfect democracy than any other civilization in the world, and some of its aspects suggest and help to explain the real differences between the Eastern and the Western points of view.

The lecture will be illustrated by lantern slides made from photographs taken by Mr. Ayres in Burma.
