The Freshman nine were last Saturday defeated in their first game of the season by the Cambridge Latin School, by a score of 18 to 13.
The Freshmen were unable to hit the ball and made all of their runs through opponents' errors. Their fielding was exceedingly erratic. The team work and base running of the Latin School team were creditable, but in fielding they made a number of costly errors.
