The University baseball squad left the Square yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock for the southern trip which will occupy the April recess. The men went to New York on the Fall River boat last night and this morning will go on to Washington, where the team will play its first game of the season with Georgetown tomorrow afternoon. On Monday it will play the University of Virginia on the Washington American League grounds.

After a short batting practice out of doors yesterday afternoon, a snow flurry forced the men into the cage where they spent an hour in battery and infielding work.
