All the courts on Jarvis Field are now in use and considering the lateness of the season, the surface is in very fair condition. On Holmes Field eight courts are now being used, four of which are situated on the ground formerly occupied by the hockey rink. These four have to be made over every year after the removal of the rink and are not yet in the best of condition.
Active work is now being commenced on five new courts to be built on Holmes Field near those already in use. It is expected that they will be ready for play in a few weeks. This addition will make the total number of University tennis courts 39, 26 being located on Jarvis Field and 13 on Holmes Field.
