At a meeting of the Faculty last Tuesday, it was voted to establish the degrees of Mining Engineer and Metallurgical Engineer. An applicant for either of these degrees must be a bachelor of science in mining and metallurgy of Harvard University, or must have satisfied the requirements for that degree, or must hold an equivalent degree from a college or scientific school of good standing.
The Charles Eliot Norton Fellowship in Greek Studies for the year 1904-05 was awarded to C. R. Post of the Senior class for a thesis on "The Dramatic Art of Aeschylus." K. K. Smith, also of the Senior class, received honorable mention.
