NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Two new whole courses in Government for undergraduates and graduates will be given next year by Dr. William B. Munro; one on Colonial Government, and the other on Municipal Government. In the former a study will be made of the different systems of colonial government that have been worked out by England, Spain, France, Holland, and the United States. The course on Municipal Government, dealing with conditions as they new exist, will be divided into two general parts: The first, a study of the modern system of city government in the United States; the second, of the city governments of modern England, France, and Germany.

Dr. Munro, a Scotchman, received an A. M. from Queon's University, Ontario, in 1896. The following year he was a graduate student in government at the University of Edinburgh. In 1899 he received an A.M. from Harvard, and in 1900 a doctor's degree. He is at present an assistant professor of history at Williams.
