At the meeting of the Massachusetts Schoolmasters' Club, at the Hotel Brunswick, April 16, the general topic for discussion will be "Social Progress and Education in the United States." Professor P. H. Hanus, the president of the club, will preside, and Professor D. R. Dewey of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will speak on "The Atlantic Seaboard"; Professor F. J. Turner with regard to "The Middle West"'; and Professor A. B. Hart '80, on "The Southern States." A dinner at 1 o'clock will precede the regular meeting.
