IMPORTANT UNION MEETING

In Living Room Today at 1.30.--To Act on Amendments to Constitution.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

There will be an important meeting of the members of the Union at 1.30 today in the Living Room to consider certain alterations and amendments to the present constitution. The changes proposed provide for a more careful wording in several sections where the meaning is slightly ambiguous, and also for the performance by the vice-president of all the president's duties during his absence. This is considered necessary since Major H.L. Higginson, the president, is unable to devote attention to the details of the running of the Union. Changes are also suggested to provide for a smaller House Committee, and to alter slightly the Membership Committee so that all the Graduate Departments together will be represented by two men and to include on the committee one graduate who is not a member of any department of the University. It is hoped that as many men as possible will attend the meeting in order thoroughly to consider the changes.
