The track squad has been greatly increased within the last two weeks, so that now the total number of candidates is 150. The men are divided into two squads; one practicing at 3.30, the other at 4.30.

After this there will be regular squads on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 3.30 for hurdlers, who at first will be in charge of the experienced track team men, but later will be coached by W. F. Garcelon '95. The board track back of the Gymnasium will be used for this work. It is planned to vary the work with a walk of five or six miles on the road today; there will be two squads, one at 3, the other at 4, instead of at 3.30 and 4.30.

Next week it is expected to have the use of the baseball cage for the high jumpers and practice will be held there until the condition of the ground permits outdoor work.
