Second Basketball Team Defeated

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The second University basketball team was defeated by Andover last Saturday evening at Andover, by a score of 20 to 13. Extreme weakness on the defense was largely responsible for the second's defeat. An unusually large number of fouls were called on each team; most of these, however, were due to minor violations of the rules rather than to roughness.

Score--Andover, 20; Harvard Second, 13. Baskets from the floor--Kinney 4, Humphries 4, Thompson, Arnold 2, Hall, Smith. Baskets from fouls--Humphries 2, Arnold 5. Referee--Bullinger. Umpire--W. A. Spencer '06. Time--20-minute halves.

The summary: HARVARD SECOND.  ANDOVER. Gallagher, Jones, l.f.  r.f., Humphries R. M. Hall, r.f.  l.f., Kinney, Schildmiller Arnold, c.  c., Thompson Stinchfield, l.g.  r.g., Clough T. H. Smith, r.g.  l.g., Cushman
