DOJ Sues Boston and Mayor Michelle Wu ’07 Over Sanctuary City Policy
The annual meeting of the Good Government League of Cambridge will be held in Sanders Theatre this evening at 8 o'clock.
President Eliot, who will speak for the Education Committee of the League, and Mr. R. F. Cutting of New York, will make the principal addresses. Mr. Cutting is president of the New York Trade School, the Citizens' Union, and the Association for Improving the Condition of the Poor. Among the other speakers will be R. H. Dana '74, Mayor A. J. Daly of Cambridge, and Mr. E. Reardon of the executive committee. H. N. Wheeler '71, will preside.
The league aims to secure the election of proper candidates for municipal office, to encourage intelligent discussion of municipal matters and to induce citizens to take a more active interest in city government.
Members of the Law School may obtain tickets for the meeting this evening on application at the office of the Secretary of the Law School. Other members of the University may obtain tickets at the Publication Office, 2 University Hall.
