The University hockey team will play the Springfield Training School at 3.30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon on the Holmes Field rink.
Unless it is decided to play off the Princeton game, which should have taken place on January 23, and was not played on account of Princeton's inability to play on the day scheduled, the next game for the University team in the intercollegiate championship series is that with Yale on February 20. The final game of the series, between the teams winning the first two places will probably be played on February 27.
Owing to examinations, not enough men reported for University hockey practice yesterday afternoon to form two teams. Practice consisted, therefore, of work of the forwards against the defense. The team-work was fair; the men, however, showed the fault apparent in the play of the whole season, playing out of their positions. The shooting lacked both speed and accuracy, but the passing was fairly good. The work of the defense, as usual, was very good.
