The University hockey team will play the Springfield Training School at 3 o'clock this afternoon on the Holmes Field rink. The line-up of the University team will be: Wilder, r.e.; Souther, r.c.; Townsend, l.c.; Macleod, l.e.; Clothier, c.p.; Carr, p.; Ivy, g.
In yesterday's practice several important changes were made in the positions of the forwards. Wilder was moved from left center to Newhall's position at right end; Townsend was shifted to Wilder's position, and his place at left end was taken by Macleod, who has been steadily improving. Although the individual work yesterday for the most part was good, there was a decided lack of team-play, probably attributable to the change in the team's make-up. The most obvious fault in the work was the inaccuracy in shooting, the men losing many opportunities to score goals either by failing to shoot in time, or by making long, slow shots.
