Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
Mr. W. W. Rockhill, director of the Bureau of the American Republics, at Washington, will give an illustrated lecture on "Travels in the Borderland of China and Tibet," under the auspices of the Travellers Club, in the Fogg Lecture Room this evening at 8 o'clock.
Mr. Rockhill has served in various diplomatic positions, having been Secretary of the United States Legation at Pekin, Charge d'Affaires in Korea, First Assistant Secretary of State, United States Minister to Greece, Commissioner to China and Plenipotentiary of the United States to the Congress of Pekin in 1901. During his residence in China he made two journeys in Mongolia and Tibet, of which some account will be given in his lecture. After the lecture members of the club and their invited friends will have an opportunity to meet Mr. Rockhill at an informal reception in the Assembly Room of the Union.
