Seventeen Seniors and twenty Juniors commenced practice at the University Boathouse yesterday afternoon for their respective class crews. The Sophomore squad did not row. The Senior squad was given work on the machines under the direction of Wray and the Juniors were coached in the tank by Vail.

The following announcement has been made of the times at which the different class crew squads will have the use of the tank and the machines: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays--on the machines: Sophomores, 3 to 3.30; Seniors, 3.30 to 4; in the tank: Freshmen, 3 to 4.30; Juniors, 4.30 to 6. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays--on the machines: Freshmen, 3 to 3.30; Juniors, 3.30 to 4; in the tank: Seniors, 3 to 4.30; Sophomores, 4.30 to 6.

New men desiring to try for any of the class crews may report this afternoon at the hours announced for their respective class squads.
