Basketball Game Postponed.

The basketball game with Columbia which was to have been played in the Hemenway Gymnasium on next Friday evening, has been postponed until Saturday evening, on account of the University Assembly.

In fast practice yesterday afternoon the University team defeated the second by the score of 34 to 24. The swift and long passes of the first team and excellent basket-shooting enabled it to run up a score of 28 to 12 in the first half. With a considerably changed line-up in the second half the play was more even. One discouraging feature of the play was the unnecessary amount of fumbling by both sides.
