The Freshman basketball team was defeated by the Melrose High School at Melrose Saturday evening by the score of 22 to 18. The play was fast and clean on both sides and few fouls were called. Unfamiliarity with the floor and baskets on the part of the Freshmen attributed much to their defeat.
