Plans for Association Football.

On account of the snow, only a few men reported yesterday for the association football practice. As long as the snow is not too deep, however, regular practice will continue every afternoon at 3 o'clock on Soldiers Field. Men will be coached for the positions to which they are best suited, and all who have had any experience are urged to come out.

If it can be arranged this fall, some outside games will be played, but regular team work will not begin until spring, when a coach will be appointed, and a permanent captain elected.

The Merrimac Valley League and the following clubs have applied for open dates this fall: Fort Warren Club; the Fall River Rovers, the Boston Rovers, and the Brooklyn Association.
