In accordance with the will of George Smith '53, of St. Louis, filed in March, 1902, the treasurer of the Corporation has received in cash and securities a payment of $257, 550.66. As the will provides that this fund may not be used until it shall have accumulated to $450,000, which will take between 15 and 20 years, no definite plans have as yet been made towards the erection of the three dormitories for which the fund was started.
