Team Won from Boston Hockey Club.

The University hockey team Saturday defeated a team from the Boston Hockey Club on the rink in the Stadium by a score eof 8 to 6. Play was fast, and at times exciting, but owing to the lack of practice of the Hockey Club team their work was very ragged. The play of the University forwards was the best so far this season, but the defensive work was poor. The teams were very evenly matched in the first period, which ended with the score 3 to 3, but in the second period lack of practice told on the Hockey Club team, and it was only through good individual playing and the weakness of the University team's defense that they scored further.
