Engaged for Five Years and by Contract May Coach the University Crew.

James Wray, who was coach of the Weld Boat Club from the fall of 1901 to last April, and who since then has held a similar position at the Detroit Boat Club, has been engaged under contract at a fixed salary by the Athletic Committee as rowing coach for a term of five years. He will begin his duties on January 1. The contract provides that Wray shall devote his attention to whatever crew the captain of the University crew shall at any tie designate.
