The University hockey team will play a practice game against a team made up of graduates at 2.30 o'clock this afternoon on the new rink in the Stadium. The entire squad, including all men who have been out for the team this year will hold practice of a second rink in the Stadium, which will be ready for use today for the first time.
The line-up this afternoon will be as follows: The second practice on the new rink in the Stadium was held yesterday afternoon. After the usual preliminary work in passing and shooting, in which the forwards of the first team practiced shooting goals against the defense, a forty minute line-up between the first and second teams was held. The play was a slight improvement, over any thus far, but was still very loose. The points were weak both in passing and lifting the puck, and their body checking was poor. In individual playing, Wilder and Townsend did the most accurate shooting and Callaway, the best body checking. The game resulted in a score of 6 goals to 0 in favor of the first team. The line-up was as follows: Goals--Wilder 3, Pell 1, Callaway 1, Townsend 1.
