The following articles have been contributed to the February magazines by Harvard graduates and professors: In the "Atlantic Monthly," "A Century of American Diplomacy," by Professor S. M. Macvane '73; "Reminiscences of Huxley," by John Fiske '63; "On a Soldier Fallen in the Philippines," by W. Vaughn Moody '93; and "The New Industrial Revolution," by Brooks Adams '70. In Scribners is an article on "Russia of Toda," by Henry Norman '81, and a poem entitled "A Greek Galley," by G. C. Lodge '95. W. D. Howells h. '67 has an essay in "The Century" entitled "At Third Hand" and a paper on "Mark Twain; an Inquiry" in "The North American Review." Senator H. C. Lodge '71 also has an article in "The North American Review," entitled "John Marshall, Statesman."

The Educational Review contains an article by Assistant Professor Paul H. Hanus, entitled "Preparation for College, and Preparation for Life."

In the "Forum," C. F. Thwing '76, president of Western Reserve, writes on the question, "Should Woman's Education Differ from Man's?" Professor Simon Newcomb '58 contributes to the "Popular Science Monthly," "Chapters on the Scars," F. T. Cooper '86 has in the "Bookman" a review of "An Englishwoman's Love Letters."
