The University trial eights which started work yesterday will continue to row every afternoon as long as the weather permits, but no race will be held this year. O. D. Filley '06, captain of the University crew, will coach the eights during the fall. The squad will practice throughout the winter on the machines and in the tank at the University boathouse. In the spring two crews will be formed, and a race will be held about the time of the class races. From the result of this race the University squad will be picked.
