Since the Yale game, previous to which the work of the University orchestra was set aside in order that exclusive attention might be given to the band, the orchestra has been practicing regularly in preparation for its concerts this season. J. W. Johnston '05, the leader, has entire charge of the coaching. The schedule of concerts has not yet been definitely arranged, but negotiations are being carried on for a large number of performances during the winter. As already announced in the CRIMSON, the orchestra will play at the "pop-nights" in the Union, the first of which will be held on Tuesday, December 13.
