Professor Albrecht Penck, of the University of Vienna, will give three lectures at special afternoon meetings of the Geological Conference this week on "The Alps in the Great Ice Age." The first of these meetings will be held at 4.30 o'clock this afternoon in the Geological Lecture Room of the University Museum. The subject of the lecture will be "The climatic Variations of the Ice Age."
The second lecture on "The Glacial Sculpture in the Alps" will be given at 4.30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, and the last of the series on Man and the Ice Age" will be on Wednesday afternoon at the same time.
These lectures will be open to all members of the University.
