First Concert of the Musical Club.

The Musical Club will hold its first annual concert on Monday evening, December 19, at 8 o'clock, in the Fogg Lecture Room.

The club, which was founded in 1898, has a large membership in the University, and a number of distinguished musicians are honorary members. Its aim is to promote musical knowledge and appreciation, by producing original compositions of the students, performing high standard works, and discussing musical subjects.

The program is as follows:

Brahms--First Movement from Sonata for Piano and Violin in A, opus 100; G. R. Jones 1G., A. W. Locke '05.

Brahms--Die Mainacht.

Lassen--Du Meiner Seele Schonster Traum.

Clayton Jones--"If Love Were Not."

Damrosch--Danny Deever; J. S. Codman '90.

P. L. Atherton '93--Romanza in A flat, opus 24.

Tschaikowsky--Humoreske in G; L. Mayer '05.

Bach--Prelude and Fugue in F minor.

Brahms--Rhapsodie in D minor, opus 79, No. 2.

Chopin--Impromptu in F sharp, opus 36.

Chopin--Ballade in A flat, opus 47; L. B. Hall '05.

Arensky--Trio in D minor for Piano, Violin and 'Cello, opus 32; G. R. Jones 1G., P. M. Brown '02, A. W. Locke '05.
