Two crews from the University squad rowed yesterday an eight and a four-oar. Both crews started from the Newell Boat Club and rowed about two miles upstream. O. D. Filley '06, captain of the University crew, is still doing all the coaching. No more races will be held this fall but the squad will continue its regular work as long as the weather permits.
The orders of the crews yesterday were as follows:
University Trial Four-Oar--Stroke, Shepard; 3, Richards; 2, Farley; bow, Johnson; cox., Wiener.
University Trial Eight--Stroke, Pleasonton; 7 Corlett; 6, Bacon; 5, Kellogg; 4, Switzer; 3, Clark; 2, Goodale; bow, Burchard; cox., Borden.
