The annual series of six public lectures, provided for by the gift of Gardiner M. Lane '81, will be given this year by Dr. J. E. Sandys on the Mondays and Wednesdays between March 27 and April 12. The subject will be "The Study of Latin during the Revival of Learning in Italy."
Dr. Sandys is public orator of Cambridge University, England, and fellow of St. John's College.
