The first trial to select the Freshman debating team will be held in the Assembly Room of the Union at 7.30 o'clock this evening. At this trial each man will be allowed to speak five minutes, and six men will be retained. The day for the final trial will be announced later.

In the first trial for the Sophomore debating team held last night the following six men were retained: A. Davis, I. Doughton, S. F. Peavey, G. J. Hirsch, M. C. Leckner, W. H. Keeling. The final trial will be held next Monday evening in Sever 11.
