The first Union entertainment of the year will be given in the Living Room, Monday evening at 8 o'clock, when Professor Y. Yamashita, instructor in Jiujitsu at Tokio, will give an exhibition similar to those given by him last June. After the exhibition the Glee Club will give an informal concert.
Beginning Monday morning the Union will be open only to members, and cards will be required for admission.
The following statistics show the number of Union memberships received since September 1: active, 927; associate, 441, non-resident, 446; life graduate, 21; life student, 12. Of the Freshman class, numbering between 700 and 800 men, only 225 have as yet joined the Union.
