The second day's practice of the Freshman football squad yesterday consisted of the usual elementary work in passing and falling on the ball, followed by practice in breaking through, for guards and tackles; catching punts, for the backs; and in running down under punts, for the ends. The entire squad was later given work in tackling the dummy. A. S. Eyre '99, R. P. Kernan '03, R. A. Derby '05, and J. Parkinson, Jr., '06 assisted in the coaching.

The following squad captains have been appointed: D. Starr, J. Macdonald, G. S. Talbot, K. B. Pope, A. W. Hard, G. G. Ball, F. R. Thomas, J. L. Derby.
