The first of the series of nine concerts to be given this season in Sanders Theatre by the Boston Symphony Orchestra will take place this evening at 7.45 o'clock. Mrs. Minnie Method will be the soloist. Following is the program: Dvorak, Overture, "Otello," opus 93; Aria--; Dvorak, Symphony No. 5, in E Minor, opus 95 (from the "New World").
The remaining concerts of the series will be given on the following dates: November 10, December 1 and 15, January 26, February 9, March 9, April 6 and 27.
