The Junior Promenade Committee has been elected as follows: B. Smith, chairman; J. A. Stivenson, floor manager; S. Turner, E. White, W. S. Moorehead, J. G. Magee, G. Ely, H. R. Wilson, D. McGee.

The will of the late W. R. Ross '56 provides a bequest of $250,000 to the university to be used in enlarging the present library building.

At a mass meeting of 800 students held in Alumni Hall last Thursday the Yale Republican Club was organized, and the following officers elected: president, R. M. Fairbanks '05; vice-president, M. H. Bowman '05S.; secretary and treasurer, T. D. Thatcher '04, '07S.

The remaining games of the freshman football schedule are as follows: October 19, St. Paul's at Garden City; October 22, Hotchkiss at New Haven; October 29, Andover at New Haven; November 5, Princeton 1908 at New Haven; November 12, Harvard 1908 at New Haven.
